Male shot in Market area of Ottawa

The Future is Binary — On Sunday, June 22, 2014 at approximately 2:32 AM, several calls were received reporting shots fired in the area of 171 George Street. Patrol officers responded to the scene and located a male victim who suffered 2 gunshot wounds to his upper thigh region; one in each leg. The victim was transferred to the Ottawa Hospital . The victim refused to provide a statement and is not cooperating with the police investigation. His injuries are non-life threatening.

The Guns and Gangs section is currently investigating.
