The Future is Binary – On July 1, 2014 shortly before 1:00 a.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to the 100 block of Risbey Crescent for the report of a male having been shot with a pellet gun.

A 52-year-old male was located and transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries to his upper body.

Initial investigation revealed that the victim had located a male suspect inside his garage.  A brief struggle between the victim and suspect ended when the suspect shot the victim with the pellet gun.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian male, 6’ tall and clean shaven.  He was wearing a grey hoodie with a dark coloured trench coat over top.

The investigation is continuing by members of the West District Crime Unit. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact investigators at 204-986-2877 or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-TIPS (8477).
