Two vehicle collision involving SPS Patrol Unit – Rusholme Rd at Ave W

The Future is Binary  –  Saskatoon Police Service Patrol and Traffic Unit members are currently on the scene of a two vehicle collision that involved a SPS vehicle.

The collision occurred just after 9:00 PM when a vehicle traveling northbound on Ave. W collided broadside with a SPS Patrol unit that was westbound on Rusholme.

Two Patrol officers, both male were transported to hospital by MD ambulance with minor non-life threatening injuries.  The 20 year old male driver of the second vehicle was not injured.

SPS Traffic Unit Collision Analysts are on scene  and the investigation is currently in progress.  There is no word on charges at this point.  The intersection is currently shut down and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
