The Future is Binary – On Friday, July 4th, 2014 at approximately 10:30 p.m. the Niagara Regional Police Service and the Niagara Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a 22 year old male with head injuries in a private parking lot located at 569 Highway 20 West, Fenwick, within the Regional Municipality of Niagara, Ontario.
Initial investigation revealed that a 2003 Honda was being driven by a 26 year old male at a slow rate of speed at this location. A male known to the driver, jumped on the hood of the vehicle and then fell to the pavement striking his head. The 22 year old victim was taken by ambulance to the Welland Health Sciences General Hospital Site in critical condition and then flown to the Hamilton Health Sciences General Hospital where he remains in critical condition. This collision remains under investigation by Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit.
